We took part in the Sustainable Development Goals Youth Dialogue Event organized by Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Uganda in partnership with Faraja Africa Foundation and Galaxy International through the International Award Holders Association.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is the world’s leading youth achievement award, bringing together practical experiences and life skills to create committed global citizens and equipping young people for life. Since it was founded by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh in 1956, over eight million people have participated in the Award in over 140 countries and territories.

The Rose Namayanja Foundation with inspiration from its founder has found it necessary to take up mentorship and training of the youth and women in order to encourage them to participate in governance and to take up the available leadership roles in their localities and sectors namely; politics, civil society, business, corporate world among others.
